Good news Xiaomi fans! If you are on the hunt for a mid-range smartphone from the folks from Xiaomi, you won’t have to wait long as the Redmi Note 8 series is coming soon to Malaysia.
Long known for their feature rich yet affordable price, the Redmi Note 8 Pro headlines the series with a whopping 64-Megapixel camera. It will feature a massive 6.53-inch Full HD+ display and will run on a MediaTek G90T processor. Don’t worry about battery life because its generous 4,500mAh battery will definitely help you get through the work day.
If you are looking for something more modest then the smaller Redmi Note 8 May be up your aisle. With a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display, it is easier to hold in hand. Xiaomi has not revealed the international edition’s specs but it is said to run on a Snapdragon 665 processor with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Apart from that, the Redmi Note 8 distinguishes itself from the Pro model with two additional cameras. While the camera is a 48-Megapixel shooter paired with a 8-Megapixel Ultra-wide, it also has a 2-Megapixel depth sensor and 2-Megapixel macro camera for good measure.
Now, the 4,000mAh battery may be smaller but it is not to be snuffed at as it supports 18W fast charging.
No official pricing has been announced for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 series but we will definitely be hearing more from them come the 8th October.
