New Samsung Galaxy A15, A15 5G And A25 5G Revealed In Malaysia

Three new Samsung smartphones have just been discovered in a listing made on the Samsung Malaysia website. Discovered by Amanz, the three new Samsung devices are the Samsung Galaxy A15, Samsung Galaxy A15 5G and Samsung Galaxy A25 5G.

Samsung Galaxy A15 and A15 5G

As you can probably tell by the name, the Samsung Galaxy A15 has two variants; one with 5G and one without. Both the A15 series sport a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 800 nit brightness. They also have triple camera setup with a 50MP main lens, 5MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro lens. On the front is a 13MP front selfie camera nestled in a notch on the screen.

Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery and there’s also 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage onboard with microSD support. As for the chipset, we aren’t too sure if the Samsung Galaxy A15 nor the A15 5G will feature the same chipset as their global counterpart. The global models sport Mediatek Helio G99 and Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ chipsets respectively.

There’s also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack and guaranteed up to 4 OS support and up to 5 years security upgrades.

Samsung Galaxy A25 5G

As for the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G, the device also has a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display but this time with 120Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy A25 also has a triple camera setup; a 50MP main lens with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro lens.

The Samsung Galaxy also comes packed with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage and an unspecified octa-core processor. We’ll see if it’ll be the same Exynos 1280 chip present on the global version of the device. Other features include a 5,000mAh battery, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack and guaranteed up to 4 OS support and up to 5 years security upgrades. The Galaxy A25 5G also features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.

Price and availability

At the moment there aren’t any information regarding the pricing of either smartphones. However, one can expect that more information will come out soon. Stay tuned to us at Adam Lobo for that.
