What’s new with Apple Fitness+?
New Horizons in Sound Meditation
In an effort to promote relaxation, Apple Fitness+ presents 10 meditation themes, now featuring a novel addition: Sound. This new meditation theme introduces a variety of soothing tones, from singing bowls to gongs, fostering a sense of ease. The Sound meditations, available in different durations, promise to help users relax and restore, with seven new meditations dropping weekly.
Empowering Golfers with Fitness+ Workouts
Recognising the importance of strength, stability, and mobility for golfers, Fitness+ introduces a specialised workout program titled Strength, Core, and Yoga for Golfers. Led by Fitness+ trainer Kyle Ardill and inspired by the training regimen of golf prodigy Rose Zhang, the programme aims to enhance strength, balance, flexibility, and mobility.
Celebrating Music: Artist Spotlight Series
Music is an integral part of Fitness+ workouts, with the Artist Spotlight series taking it to the next level. Commencing 8th January, the series will feature 10 new workouts with music by Rihanna. Which then builds up to the Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show featuring USHER. The series will subsequently showcase music by Britney Spears, U2, and conclude with the Halftime Show headliner.
Walking with Influential Voices
Time to Walk, the award-winning audio experience, introduces new episodes featuring influential personalities such as Al Roker, Trixie Mattel, Lilly Singh, Common, and Colman Domingo. Notably, select Time to Walk episodes will now be accessible on Apple Podcasts, reaching a broader audience.
Ring in the New Year with Apple Watch
Apple Watch users can kickstart their fitness journey in January by earning the limited-edition award, “Ring in the New Year.” Achieving seven consecutive days of closing all three Activity rings unlocks this exclusive accomplishment.
