Infinix has just given their Infinix HOT 30 and HOT 30i a refresh with new and improved hardware. Best part of it all is that the enhanced specifications come with no change to its original pricing.
Infinix HOT 30 & HOT 3oi: Upgraded!
The Infinix HOT 30 has been given an increased internal storage capacity this time around. It’s gone from just 128GB to 256GB, doubling the amount of storage on the original. Apart from that, the internals of the device stays the same. The HOT 30 still features a Helio G88 SoC under the hood, a 6.87-in FHD LCD display with a 90HZ refresh rate and 8GB of RAM. Camera-wise the HOT 30 still comes with a dual camera setup that includes a 50MP wide camera and a 0.08MP auxiliary camera. On the front is an 8MP selfie camera.
There’s also a 5,000mAh battery which features Infinix’s own “Power Marathon” power-saving mode. The company claims that the can last 2 hours at 5% battery with this feature. Moreover, the device also supports 33W fast charging.
Moving on to the Infinix HOT 30i, this device definitely got the most upgrades of the two. The most significant is the change of chipset and camera setip. The HOT 30i now features a Helio G37 compared to the original’s Unisoc T606 chipset while the camera is now a 50MP main camera and an AI-enhanced camera. The device also comes with an increased 8GB RAM, up from the previous 4GB RAM, coupled with 128GB of internal storage.

The refreshed Infinix HOT 30 and HOT 30i are available for purchase now. The HOT 30 can be bought at a promotional price of RM499 (originally RM599) while the HOT 30i is priced at RM399. You can purchase the devices through the official Infinix online store and on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok.
