Gaming giant Activision Blizzard has recently announced a significant update for its users. In the near future, players will have the option to make purchases in Malaysian Ringgit. This move is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to enhance user experience and accessibility for its global player base.

The change is made is to simplify payment processes and reduce or eliminate fees associated with foreign currency transactions. This change is set to take effect no sooner than 30 days from the date of the official notification.
For users holding Battle.net Balance in USD, the transition will be seamless, with balances automatically converting to an equivalent amount in RM at the time of the currency switch. The exchange rate used for this conversion will be sourced from WMR FX Benchmarks, based on the spot FX rate from the day prior to the currency transition.
Following the change, users can expect to shop on Battle.net in their new transaction currency. Their prices will be adjusted accordingly to ensure a smooth and consistent experience. Additionally, subscribers with active or paused World of Warcraft subscriptions need not worry. Your current subscriptions will continue to be billed in RM until any cancellation is made.
