A new Nothing Phone, presumably the Nothing Phone (2a), has been spotted on the SIRIM website. While there is no news from the brand themselves, expect the device’s release in Malaysia sometime soon.
Nothing Phone (2a) coming soon?

According to Lowyat.net, who first spotted the SIRIM certification, the device carries the model number A142 and was listed in the SIRIM database on the 22nd January. The (2a) will supposedly be unveiled during the Mobile World Congress 2024 in Barcelona at the end of the month.
News on the phone’s specifications are pretty scarce at the moment. However, rumours have pointed that the upcoming Nothing Phone will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Other specs include a Mediatek Dimensity 7200 chipset, a dual 50MP camera setup and a 32MP front camera.
Last month, Nothing CEO Carl Pei teased a potential Pokémon collaboration by tweeting a cryptic picture of the Pokémon, Aerodactyl. We’re still not entirely sure what that’s about though. Maybe a potential Pokémon-themed Nothing phone (2a)?
