New Infinix GT 20 Pro Gaming Smartphone Unleashed with Powerful Specs and Mecha Design

Infinix is making a strong push into the European market. They’ve launched the Infinix GT 20 Pro, a gaming phone with impressive specs. It boasts a striking “cyber mecha design.”

The GT 20 Pro strikes a balance between performance and affordability. The heart of the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor, featuring four high-performance cores clocked at up to 3.1 GHz for demanding tasks, alongside four efficiency cores for better battery life. Infinix has also included a dedicated display controller for faster response times, crucial for competitive gaming. The software includes an e-sports mode that optimizes performance by minimising background activity and disabling notifications.

Display built for speed

The GT 20 Pro boasts a large 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate for ultra-responsive visuals. The display’s 2436 x 1080 resolution ensures sharp visuals, while a peak brightness of 1300 nits delivers excellent readability in bright environments. The phone’s touch sampling rate hits a staggering 360Hz, perfect for fast-paced games where every millisecond counts. A fingerprint sensor sits discreetly under the display for added security.

The GT 20 Pro caters to selfie enthusiasts with a 32MP front-facing camera. On the back, a triple-camera system is headlined by a 108MP main sensor, accompanied by two 2MP sensors for additional effects. Keeping the phone powered is a sizeable 5000mAh battery, which supports fast charging up to 45 watts via USB-C.

Price and availability

The Infinix GT 20 Pro embraces its gaming DNA with a unique “cyber mecha design” available in three colours: Mecha Orange, Mecha Silver, and Mecha Blue. The phone boasts an IP54 rating, offering protection against splashes and light dust.

While Infinix has yet to reveal pricing and specific launch details, the GT 20 Pro’s price appears to have been revealed all over Shopee and Lazada by multiple retailers.
