Nothing has unveiled the Nothing Phone (2a) Special Edition, a vibrant new take on their popular mid-range smartphone. This phone prioritises colour, honouring the brand’s core value of transparency.
Nothing Phone (2a) Special Edition: A Design Inspired by Primary Colours
The Nothing Industrial Design Team took inspiration from the fundamental building blocks of colour: red, yellow, and blue. Each colour in this unique colourway, previously appearing in separate products, marks a first for Nothing hardware.
“We are thrilled to introduce the Phone (2a) Special Edition,” said Adam Bates, Design Director at Nothing. “This is our first product to explore our entire palette of primary colours. It pays homage to design greats while establishing a fresh look for smartphones, transforming a functional device into a captivating piece of art.”
Special Edition Keeps What Made the Original Great
The Special Edition retains the features that made the Phone (2a) a success. It boasts a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro processor, a smooth Nothing OS, and a long-lasting 5,000 mAh battery. The phone also features a stunning 6.7-inch flexible AMOLED display, a capable dual 50MP rear camera system, and Nothing’s signature transparent design with The Glyph Interface.
Limited Availability and Exclusive Perks
Following the Phone (2a)’s impressive launch that saw 100,000 units sell out in hours, Nothing is offering the Special Edition in a limited quantity. The phone will be available in a single 12GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration priced at RM 1,699.
For Malaysian fans, the first 100 units will be available exclusively online at Crossover Concept Store on a first-come, first-served basis starting Friday, June 7th at 12:00 AM. You can purchase the regular Nothing Phone (2a) now through the Nothing official stores on Shopee and Lazada.
