vivo Malaysia introduced its latest flagship smartphones, the V40 and V40 Pro. These devices are designed to redefine mobile portrait photography with a professional-grade portrait system co-engineered with ZEISS. The V40 and V40 Pro feature a multifocal lens system, allowing users to capture stunning portraits with exceptional clarity and versatility.
A New Era of Mobile Portrait Photography
The V40 and V40 Pro boast a powerful camera setup that includes a 50MP ZEISS OIS Main Camera, a 50MP ZEISS Telephoto Portrait Camera (V40 Pro), a 50MP ZEISS Ultra Wide-Angle Camera, and a 50MP ZEISS Group Selfie Camera. The ZEISS Multifocal Portrait feature provides multiple focal lengths for creative portrait shooting. ZEISS Cinematic Bokeh Video adds a cinematic look, while ZEISS Focus Transition ensures smooth focus shifts.
The V40 and V40 Pro feature an upgraded AI Aura Light Portrait for studio-quality lighting. The Aura Light is brighter and softer, especially when using 2x zoom, and supports all focal lengths. Additionally, the AI 3D Studio Lighting and Festival Portrait style offer more creative options for portrait photography.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ (V40 Pro) and Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 (V40) processors, the V40 series delivers smooth performance and efficient multitasking. The large 5,500mAh battery ensures long-lasting usage, and the 80W FlashCharge Technology allows for quick charging.

Availability and Pricing
The vivo V40 series will be available in Malaysia starting from August 31st at authorised vivo stores and online platforms. The V40 is priced at RM 1,999 (256 GB) and RM 2,399 (512 GB), while the V40 Pro is priced at RM 3,299. Pre-orders are now open until the 30th of August with exclusive gifts.
