Is MrBeast Buying TikTok?
Popular YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson, known as MrBeast, has hinted at a potential takeover of TikTok, claiming he’s about to submit a “final offer” to the platform’s owner, ByteDance.
MrBeast has been teasing the move on social media. In a recent video, he discussed securing funding from “a bunch of billionaires” for an undisclosed acquisition. Shortly after that, he shared footage of himself on a private jet. In the clip, he went on to announce his intention to submit his final offer for TikTok.

If successful, this acquisition would see MrBeast potentially become the CEO of the popular video-sharing platform.
This move comes amidst ongoing scrutiny of TikTok by the US government. The app was briefly banned in the country earlier this year due to concerns about national security, stemming from its ties to the Chinese government. These concerns revolve around the potential for user data to be accessed by the Chinese government.
ByteDance has not publicly commented on MrBeast’s offer.
