Google Pixel 10 Leaked: Familiar Design and Dimensions Revealed
Early renders of the highly anticipated Google Pixel 10 have surfaced, revealing a design that maintains the familiar aesthetic of its predecessors. The leaks, originating from CAD renders provided by OnLeaks and first reported by Android Headlines, offer a glimpse into Google’s upcoming flagship, expected to launch in August 2025.
Display and Camera: Sticking with the Familiar
According to the leaked information, the Pixel 10 will retain a 6.3-inch display, a signature feature of recent Pixel models. The device will also feature a triple rear camera setup, as evidenced by the renders.
Dimensions and Design: Minor Tweaks
Detailed dimensions provided by OnLeaks indicate that the Pixel 10 will measure 152.8 x 72 x 8.6mm. The camera module will add an additional 3.4mm, bringing the total thickness to 12mm. Notably, this is nearly identical to the dimensions of the Pixel 9, with a marginal increase in body thickness from 8.5mm to 8.6mm.
Bezels and Button Placement: Continuity Maintained
Android Headlines reported that the Pixel 10’s screen size and overall dimensions are nearly identical to the Pixel 9. Therefore, it is likely that the bezels will remain unchanged as well.
While the symmetrical bezels are an improvement over previous generations, some users may still desire thinner bezels. Google is continuing its design language by incorporating flat sides while slightly curving the edges to improve grip. Additionally, the matte finish on the sides is also expected to return. Moreover, the placement of the power button above the volume rocker, a unique feature of Pixel phones, will remain unchanged.
Software and Codename: Android 16 on the Horizon
The Pixel 10, codenamed “Frankel,” was first reported by Android Headlines in September. In terms of design, it appears to be a minor, iterative update. However, on the software side, the device is expected to launch with Android 16. Notably, this update is anticipated to arrive in June 2025, bringing significant improvements and new features.
While these leaks offer a preliminary look at the Pixel 10, it’s important to remember that designs can evolve before the official launch. As the August 2025 release approaches, more details about the Pixel 10’s features and specifications are expected to emerge.
