Soundcore today officially launched its latest premium true wireless earbuds, the Liberty 5, in Malaysia. Touted as the brand’s “Best Voice Noise Canceling Earbuds” yet, the new model aims not only to impress with its advanced noise cancellation capabilities but also to deliver high-fidelity audio and a travel-friendly design.
Unrivalled Noise Cancellation for Crystal-Clear Communication
The headline feature of the Liberty 5 is its Adaptive ANC 3.0 system. Soundcore claims this technology offers twice the voice suppression compared to its predecessors by intelligently analyzing the environment 180 times per minute and targeting the 300Hz–3kHz frequency range, crucial for human speech. This is coupled with a unique acoustic chamber design and advanced processing. For calls, the earbuds utilize a six-microphone array designed to isolate the user’s voice while effectively reducing ambient noise.
Immersive Audio Experience with Hi-Res Support
On the audio front, the Liberty 5 boasts Dolby Audio support and offers users a selection of three customizable EQ presets (Music, Movie, Podcast) via the accompanying Soundcore app. Soundcore claims the newly engineered 9.2mm wool-paper composite driver drives the audio, significantly reducing distortion and delivering three times clearer mids and highs compared to conventional true wireless drivers.
For discerning listeners, the Liberty 5 supports LDAC codec for high-resolution audio streaming and carries the Hi-Res Wireless Certification. Furthermore, Soundcore has implemented a dual bass tube technology to enhance low-end frequencies, promising a richer and more natural bass response.

Designed for portability and durability, the Liberty 5 sports a slim profile and an IP55 rating for resistance against dust and water splashes, a welcome feature, especially considering the Malaysian climate. In terms of battery life, it is quoted at up to 12 hours with ANC off and 8 hours with ANC enabled on a single charge. Moreover, the charging case extends this to a total of 48 hours (ANC off) or 32 hours (ANC on). Additionally, a quick 10-minute charge provides up to 5 hours of playback.

The latest Bluetooth 5.4 standard handles connectivity, offering a stable connection of up to 15 metres. The earbuds also feature Google Fast Pair for seamless pairing with compatible Android devices. The included charging case supports wireless charging via its SnapCharge functionality.

The Soundcore Liberty 5 will be available in Black, White, Blue, and Apricot colour options. The brand has priced it at RM399, with an introductory promotional offer of RM329 available from 27th May to 19th June.
