HUAWEI Malaysia officially launched its latest flagship tablet, the MatePad Pro 12.2” (2025), and the new FreeBuds 6 wireless earbuds yesterday, thereby marking a significant expansion of its device ecosystem in the Malaysian market. Moreover, these new products aim to enhance productivity, creativity, and audio experiences for users on the go.
MatePad Pro 12.2 (2025): A PC-Like Experience in a Portable Form
Designed to bridge the gap between laptops and tablets, the HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2 (2025) offers a robust solution for professionals and creatives.

- Display: To begin with, it boasts a 12.2-inch Tandem OLED PaperMatte Display with 2.8K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR Vivid support. Moreover, the display features an anti-glare nano-texture coating, reducing ambient light interference by 99%, and it is also certified by TÜV Rheinland and SGS for eye comfort.
- Performance: Powered by an undisclosed first-party flagship chipset, the tablet also includes a new heat dissipation system, which in turn boosts overall performance by up to 30%. Furthermore, it comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
- Battery: A large 10,100 mAh battery supports fast charging, reaching full capacity in just 55 minutes.

The HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2” (2025) is now available for pre-order in Malaysia, priced at RM3,599. It can be ordered through HUAWEI’s official Experience Stores, its website, and authorised platforms including Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. Early bird customers who place a RM50 deposit will receive a rebate of up to RM200 and exclusive freebies valued at up to RM2,045, including the M-Pencil (3rd Gen), a mouse, a backpack, SoundJoy speaker, and a licensed PC-Level WPS Office.
HUAWEI FreeBuds 6: Enhanced Audio and Smart Features
Alongside the MatePad, HUAWEI also introduced the FreeBuds 6, an open-fit wireless earbud designed with improved ergonomics, audio, and smart call features.

- Design: The FreeBuds 6, for starters, sports a new droplet-inspired design with a 12% smaller stem and a lightweight build of just 4.9g per bud. Moreover, it integrates a UHF Planar Diaphragm Driver and is available in three colours: Purple, White, and Black.
- Audio Quality: It features an upgraded 11mm dual-magnetic driver and HUAWEI’s Bass Turbo 2.0 technology, supporting high-resolution audio playback up to 48 kHz/24-bit via the proprietary L2HC 4.0 codec.
