Apple Music Marks a Decade with Global Artist Hub and Immersive Studio Launch

10 Years Strong: Apple Music Unveils Future-Forward Artist Hub

As Apple Music celebrates its 10th anniversary, the platform is ushering in a new era of artist support and creative innovation with the unveiling of a state-of-the-art studio space in Los Angeles and a global hub designed to foster creativity and connection within the music community.

Apple Music 10th Anniversary Artist Hub

Opening this summer, the new 15,000-square-foot, three-story facility in Los Angeles represents Apple’s most ambitious creative project to date. More than just a traditional studio, this creative campus will serve as a dedicated home for artist-driven content, audio innovation, and deeper fan engagement. It underscores Apple’s enduring commitment to providing artists with the tools, platform, and creative freedom to tell their stories in unprecedented ways.

A Creative Ecosystem Built for Artists

The Los Angeles studio boasts an impressive array of features, including two advanced radio studios with immersive Spatial Audio playback, a 4,000-square-foot soundstage for live performances and fan events, and a dedicated Spatial Audio mixing room equipped with a 9.2.4 PMC speaker system. The facility also includes a photo and social media lab, edit rooms, and private isolation booths for songwriting and podcasting, creating a comprehensive ecosystem for real-time content creation. Additionally, the A-List Corridor and Archive Corridor will showcase iconic moments from Apple Music’s rich history.

This new Los Angeles hub will anchor a growing global network of creative centres, with existing studios in New York, Tokyo, Berlin, Paris, and Nashville, and more planned for the future. This expansion signifies the streaming service’s continued dedication to innovating not only how music is streamed but also how it is made, experienced, and shared, from radio broadcasts to live performances and fan engagement.

Apple Music Radio Celebrates a Decade of Connection

A defining feature of the service since its inception, Apple Music Radio is celebrating its 10-year milestone with a week of special programming. Esteemed hosts Zane Lowe and Ebro Darden, who were instrumental in the launch of Beats 1 (now Apple Music Radio), will lead the festivities.

This was followed by the “10 Years of Apple Music” special from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. PST on Apple Music 1, an eight-hour broadcast recounting the greatest artist moments, exclusive releases, and cultural milestones. The day will culminate with “Live: 10 Years Of Apple Music” from 4 to 7 p.m. PST, a live broadcast hosted by Zane and Ebro, featuring artists who have shaped the service’s trajectory. Further enhancing the anniversary celebration, Apple Music Radio will begin a special countdown on Tuesday, July 1, unveiling the service’s top 500 most-streamed songs from the past decade. One hundred songs will be revealed daily, culminating on July 5 with Apple Music’s top 100 most-streamed songs of all time, at which point the full “10 Years of Apple Music: Top Songs” playlist will be available for streaming.

In addition, the streaming service is launching Replay All Time, a special version of its popular annual Replay experience. This new feature allows subscribers to revisit and stream the songs they’ve played the most since joining Apple Music, with the Replay playlist accessible directly from the Home tab.
