HUAWEI Pura 80 Now Open for Pre-Order in Malaysia
Following the Malaysian release of the HUAWEI Pura 80 Pro and Pura 80 Ultra models last month, HUAWEI has officially launched the base HUAWEI Pura 80, priced at RM3,299. The device is now available for pre-order, offering a range of compelling features and a significant discount for early adopters.
The HUAWEI Pura 80 is built around the Ultra Chroma XMAGE Camera system, which leverages 1.5 million spectral channels and XD Fusion Pro Technology for exceptional photography. The rear camera array includes a 50MP Ultra Lighting Camera with a variable aperture and optical image stabilisation, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP periscope telephoto lens capable of 5.5x optical and 50x digital zoom. For selfies, a 13MP ultra-wide front-facing camera is included.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 5,170mAh battery with support for 66W wired and 50W wireless HUAWEI SuperCharge. Its LTPO OLED display features a sharp 460ppi resolution, a dynamic 1 to 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR support, all protected by second-generation Kunlun Glass for enhanced durability.
Beyond its hardware, the HUAWEI Pura 80 integrates several AI-powered tools designed to improve the user experience. These include AI Removal, which simplifies the process of removing unwanted objects from photos, and AI Best Expression, which automatically selects the most flattering smiles in group pictures. The device also features AI Gesture Control for hands-free operation and AI Messaging to protect message previews from prying eyes.
In terms of design, the HUAWEI Pura 80 is available in Frosted Gold, Frosted White, and Frosted Black, featuring a sleek flat-edge design and a frosted matte glass back. Its distinct Forward Symbol Design and subtle lens ring give the phone a unique visual signature.
As part of an exclusive pre-order campaign running until 7 September, customers can enjoy a special RM500 voucher, bringing the price down to RM2,799. This offer also includes freebies such as the HUAWEI Band 8, HUAWEI Scale 3, and a one-year HUAWEI Care+ plan.
The pre-order is available through HUAWEI Experience Stores, the official HUAWEI website, and key online retailers like Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. This launch is also part of a larger 2025 Sales Start Campaign, offering prizes worth up to RM2,978 on a first-come, first-served basis until 31 December.
