Lenovo showcased its latest Legion gaming portfolio at the Lenovo Legion Hands-On Event, with the highly anticipated next-generation Lenovo Legion Go 2 handheld gaming PC headlining the lineup. The event highlighted Lenovo’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of gaming technology in the region with new devices featuring AI-tuned performance, advanced cooling, and immersive display technology designed to meet the evolving demands of today’s gamers.

The event featured the new Lenovo Legion Pro series, engineered for competitive gamers. The flagship Lenovo Legion Pro 7i combines Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processors with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-Series Laptop GPUs (up to RTX 5090). This is paired with a 16-inch WQXGA OLED panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate and advanced Legion thermal technology.

The Lenovo Legion Pro 5i features up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU, along with a 16-inch WQXGA OLED display up to 165 Hz.

Both Pro series models feature a new aggressive design with an innovative Coldfront Hyper thermal system that uses turbocharged fans and oversized 3D copper heat pipes to dissipate heat efficiently.

Lenovo also unveiled its most powerful gaming laptop to date, the Lenovo Legion 9i. This device is built with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, featuring a lightweight forged carbon design and integrated liquid-cooling. The laptop’s 18-inch PureSight display supports up to 4K resolution in 2D and optional 2K 3D support, allowing designers to view their work without special glasses.

For gamers who need portability, the showcase included the thinner and lighter all-metal Lenovo Legion 7i, a premium device designed for students in STEM programs. The new 15-inch Lenovo Legion 5i, which is up to 13% lighter and thinner than its predecessor, is aimed at non-STEM university students who need a single laptop for both studies and AAA gaming.

A key highlight of the event was the next-generation Lenovo Legion Go 2 handheld gaming PC, recently announced at IFA 2025. Powered by up to an AMD Ryzen Z2 processor and paired with a vibrant 8.8-inch WUXGA 144 Hz OLED display, the Legion Go 2 advances the portable gaming experience with a 50% larger battery for longer life, improved ergonomics, and enhanced detachable TrueStrike controllers with Hall Effect joysticks.

The Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 3 offers a compact yet powerful experience with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and an 8.8-inch 2.5K display with support for Ray Tracing. Finally, the Lenovo Legion Glasses Gen 2 use micro-OLED displays to create a private 126-inch virtual screen, extending gaming beyond traditional displays.

All of the showcased devices come preloaded with the redesigned Legion Space, a unified gaming hub that centralises device settings and consolidates game libraries with new AI-powered features.
