CMF Headphone Pro Brings Hi-Res Audio and Tactile Controls to Malaysia at RM429
CMF by Nothing officially launched its inaugural over-ear Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) product, the CMF Headphone Pro, in Malaysia today. The headphones are priced at RM429 and feature a claimed battery life of up to 100 hours, along with a focus on modular design and personalised controls.
The CMF Headphone Pro utilises custom-engineered 40mm nickel-plated drivers, precision bass ducts, and dual-chamber construction. The company states this configuration aims to deliver high-quality sound with reduced distortion. The headphones support LDAC and carry dual Hi-Res certification for both wired and wireless streaming, facilitating high-resolution music playback at up to 990 kbps.
Adaptive Noise Cancellation and Sound Customisation
The CMF Headphone Pro includes a Hybrid Adaptive ANC system, which CMF claims is capable of reducing ambient noise by up to 40dB. This technology automatically detects ambient noise levels and adjusts the cancellation settings every 600 milliseconds, offering three selectable levels of noise reduction.
The product features a Spatial Audio mode, with dedicated Cinema and Concert Modes, to provide an expanded soundstage. Sound personalisation is available through integrated Audiodo technology, which creates a unique sound profile tailored to the individual user’s ear canal shape and hearing characteristics.
Modular Design and Tactile Controls
The Headphone Pro features a distinct modular design and is available in three colours: light grey, dark grey, and light green. The design includes interchangeable ear cushions, which allow users to customise the appearance and adjust acoustic performance.
The controls rely on physical, tactile interfaces:
- The Roller: Used for volume adjustment, ANC toggling, and media playback (play/pause).
- The Energy Slider: A dedicated slider for real-time adjustment of bass and treble levels.
- Customizable Button: A programmable hardware button for quick access to a preferred function.
Battery Life
The battery is positioned as a key feature, with CMF reporting up to 100 hours of playback on a single charge (up to 50 hours with ANC enabled).
The quick charging specification provides a claimed 4 hours of listening time from a 5-minute charge. A full charge takes less than two hours via USB-C, and the headphones support charging directly from a compatible smartphone using a Type-C to Type-C cable.

The CMF Headphone Pro is available for RM429. Colour options include Dark Grey, Light Green, and Light Grey. Interchangeable cushions will be sold separately for RM89 beginning in October.
