Acer Nitro V 16S Ultra-Slim Gaming Laptop Lands in Malaysia
Acer Malaysia today announced that its new slim gaming laptop, the Nitro V 16S, is now available. The launch introduces four distinct variants, offering Malaysian consumers flexibility in balancing specifications and cost.
The Nitro V 16S features a 14mm thin metal chassis. It supports configurations across both Intel and AMD platforms, with all models designed for portability. Processor options include Intel Core 7 and Core 5 CPUs paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics, which are rated for up to 115W Max Graphics Power. Alternatively, variants featuring AMD Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 5 processors are available, matched with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 graphics.
The 16-inch display options include WUXGA (1920×1200) or WQXGA (2560×1600) resolution panels. Both panels utilise a 16:10 aspect ratio, feature a 180Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB colour coverage, and a 3ms response time.
To manage thermal output in the slim chassis, the Nitro V 16S is equipped with a dual-fan cooling system that uses quad air intakes and quad exhausts. The user experience is further customised by a 4-zone RGB keyboard.
The Acer Nitro V 16S is immediately available for purchase, with retail pricing beginning at RM4,999. It can be acquired via the Acer eStore, official Shopee and Lazada stores, and authorised Acer resellers nationwide. Customers purchasing the laptop before 13 October are eligible to receive a complimentary Logitech G304 Lightspeed wireless mouse.
