Google AI Plus Now Available in Malaysia as Part of Global Expansion to 77 Countries
OpenAI is not the only one to launch a new and affordable AI plan in Malaysia, as Google has officially launched its Google AI Plus subscription service, offering an introductory price of RM11.99 per month for the first six months. After the promotional period, the subscription will revert to its regular price of RM23.99 per month.
The launch in Malaysia is part of a broader global expansion, with Google AI Plus now available in 77 countries. The service provides users with enhanced access to Google’s latest artificial intelligence features. This expansion follows a successful initial launch in Indonesia and a subsequent rollout to 40 other countries.
Subscribers to Google AI Plus will benefit from higher limits on creative tools such as the image and video generators Nano Banana, Flow, and Whisk. The plan also integrates the powerful Gemini AI into Google’s suite of applications, including Gmail and Docs, and offers expanded access to the research and writing assistant, NotebookLM. Additionally, the subscription includes 200 GB of cloud storage.
