Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 Arrives in Malaysia, Targeting Budget Segment with AI Features
Samsung introduced its new Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 in Malaysia today, expanding its offerings in the competitive budget tablet market. The device, aimed at students and families, incorporates artificial intelligence features typically found in higher-priced models, with prices beginning at RM499.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 is built with a slim and lightweight frame for portability. The design is consistent with Samsung’s established Galaxy aesthetic, prioritising durability for daily use.
Key hardware specifications include a display with a 90Hz refresh rate, Portrait Dual Speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and a 5,100mAh battery. Samsung states that a high-performance processor powers the tablet, though specific model details were not provided in the initial release.
A notable feature for this price point is the inclusion of the Gemini AI assistant. The tablet runs on Samsung’s One UI 7 interface, which includes tools such as a Math Solver within the Samsung Notes application. Samsung also confirmed the device will be secured by its Knox platform and is scheduled to receive up to seven generations of software updates.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 is now available in Grey and Silver. The pricing structure is as follows:
