Edifier Launches New Cyber Speakers with Integrated PC Performance Display

Edifier has launched a new set of speakers, the New Cyber, that doubles as a desktop accessory for PC gaming enthusiasts. The speakers are housed in a chassis that mimics the design of a small form factor gaming PC, complete with a transparent top half showcasing components styled to look like a graphics card, RAM, and cooling fans.

A standout feature of the New Cyber is its integrated 2.8-inch touchscreen display. This screen is not just for show; it can display graphics and animations, and more impressively, it can connect to a PC to show real-time CPU and GPU load, as well as RAM usage. This provides users with a novel way to monitor their system’s performance at a glance.
The speakers also function as a charging hub, equipped with both a USB-C and a USB-A port, each capable of delivering up to 35 watts of power to connected devices.

In terms of audio hardware, the New Cyber speakers are equipped with two 52mm full-range drivers, a 100mm woofer, and two passive radiators to enhance bass performance. The system is powered by a 60-watt amplifier. Connectivity options are versatile, including USB, AUX, and Bluetooth 5.0, allowing for connections to both PCs and smartphones.
The Edifier New Cyber speakers are currently available in China for 1,499 yuan (approximately RM992). Edifier has not yet released information regarding international availability.
