Samsung Galaxy A07 5G Goes Official With Dimensity 6300 and 6,000mAh Battery

Samsung Galaxy A07 5G Unveiled, Bringing Faster Connectivity to Its Entry-Level A-Series

TL;DR: Samsung has launched the Galaxy A07 5G with a 120Hz display, a 6,000mAh battery, and 5G support. It’s priced from about PHP 8,290 and is coming soon to Malaysia.

Samsung has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy A07 5G, expanding its entry-level A-series lineup with 5G connectivity months after debuting the 4G variant in September last year. The new model has been unveiled in the Philippines, with Malaysia listed as a “coming soon” market on Samsung Malaysia’s website.

The Samsung Galaxy A07 5G is powered by a 6nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. In markets where it is already on sale, the phone is offered with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage, with support for microSD card expansion.

On the front, the Galaxy A07 5G features a 6.7-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution, and up to 800 nits of high-brightness mode (HBM) brightness. This positions the device as one of the more fluid display options in Samsung’s entry-level 5G portfolio.

Camera hardware remains simple but practical. The phone comes with a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor, while selfies are handled by an 8MP front camera housed in a waterdrop notch.

A major highlight is the 6,000mAh battery, which is significantly larger than its predecessor. Samsung pairs the large battery with One UI 8.0, and the company has committed to six years of Android OS updates and six years of security patches, a notable promise for a phone in this price segment.

In terms of features, the Galaxy A07 5G includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, a USB-C port, and 5G connectivity. The device also carries an IP54 dust and water resistance rating, measures 8.2mm thick, and weighs 199 grams.

In the Philippines, the Samsung Galaxy A07 5G is available in Black and Light Violet. Pricing is set at PHP 8,290 for the 4GB/64GB variant and PHP 9,990 for the 4GB/128GB model. Based on current exchange rates, this roughly translates to around RM690 and around RM830, respectively.

Samsung has yet to confirm official Malaysian pricing or a launch date, but with the device already listed as coming soon on Samsung Malaysia’s website, local availability is expected in the near future.
