In my video review of the Nokia 6.1 Plus
I’ve used the beta version of Android 9.0 Pie, which although it was just a beta version, the usability and navigation was flawless, and just 4 days ago Nokia has officially announced the official full update from Oreo to Pie.
This update will roll out in phases starting from November 8th onwards, so if you guys haven’t visited your System Updates section in a while, its now the time to do to make sure you have the latest security patches before the Pie update appears.
If you are not familiar with what’s new on the Android Pie, well firstly its gives you better software optimization hence saving battery with its adaptive battery, there is also new UI look to the whole navigation system with a single home button and some brand new gestures as well.
The Digital Wellbeing feature, which limits your life on the phone is also said to be coming to the phone real soon so stay tuned to that, or alternatively, you can head to the Nokia Beta Labs to register the update yourself
