The agreement integrates Brunei’s charge points into the chargEV app. This in turn offers drivers access to over 1,000 chargers across Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei. This seamless user experience allows for easy discovery, activation, and payment through the app, even during cross-border trips. Payments will conveniently occur in local currency, eliminating any additional hassles.

This collaboration marks a major breakthrough for Brunei’s EV industry. Mr. Sreedhar Sivasambu, Managing Director of Yinson GreenTech’s digital arm, DigitalEV, emphasizes, “This partnership addresses the biggest hurdle to EV adoption: range anxiety.” Yinson GreenTech is known for its smart digital solutions that facilitate affordable and easy transitions to EVs, and they are committed to working with partners like BEV to tailor solutions to local needs.
