Dyson has announced its latest innovation in floorcare technology, the Dyson WashG1 wet floor cleaner. Designed for hard floors across large spaces, the WashG1 promises a powerful, hygienic clean in one go.

Separation Technology for Easy Maintenance

Dyson’s unique separation technology keeps things clean. Dirty water is extracted from the rollers and collected in a separate tank, while a secondary brush removes dirt and debris from the microfiber rollers and flicks it into a removable tray. This design allows for hygienic disposal without ever having to touch dirty water.

For further ease of use, the WashG1 is designed with smooth internal surfaces to minimise dirt build-up, and both water tanks have large openings for easy cleaning. Additionally, a self-cleaning mode purges the rollers and system with clean water after use.

Highly Absorbent Rollers for Effective Cleaning

The WashG1 features two counter-rotating rollers made from a unique, highly absorbent microfiber with 64,800 filaments per cm². This combination ensures effective absorption of liquid spills while also trapping dry dirt, debris, and hair. The dual rollers also provide a longer dwell time on stains for faster and more powerful removal.

Customised Hydration Control for Different Needs

The WashG1 offers in-use hydration control, allowing you to choose the level of water distribution based on the type of debris, flooring, and your personal preference. Low, medium, and high modes provide continuous cleaning with increasing water flow, while each mode has additional sensitivity settings for fine-tuning. A separate boost mode delivers maximum hydration for tackling stubborn dirt and dried-on stains.

Manoeuvrability and Edge-to-Edge Cleaning

For effortless cleaning and manoeuvrability, the WashG1 features two motors within each microfiber roller. These motors adjust their speed based on the selected hydration mode, ensuring smooth gliding and efficient cleaning. Additionally, the design incorporates technology from the Dyson Omni-glide for improved balance and weight distribution, while the low cleaner head height allows for easy reach under furniture.
