HONOR Malaysia has just released a very curious teaser that is sure to excite HONOR fans across the country. The teaser was released today across their social media pages. The caption seems to indicate that the HONOR Magic V2 foldable is finally making its way to Malaysia.

HONOR Magic V2 launching in Malaysia?

Although the teaser didn’t explicitly state the device model, the caption “Thinnest & Lightest” appears to suggest the HONOR Magic V2. The Magic V2, a foldable smartphone released in China in July, has yet to reach our shores—until now, at least.

The HONOR Magic V2 features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 16GB RAM, up to 1TB internal storage and a 5,000mAh with support for 66W wired fast charging. A 6.43-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and 2,500 nits brightness constitutes the outer display. In contrast, the inner display is a 7.92-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and 1,600 nits brightness. The device measures at just 9.9mm when folded and 4.1mm unfolded while weighing just 231g.

As for the camera, the Magic V2 touts a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP main lens with OIS, a 20MP telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom and OIS, and a 50MP ultrawide lens. There’s also a 16MP selfie camera located at the top of the outer display. The HONOR Magic V2 comes with Magic OS 7.2 out of the box based on Android 13.
