Once upon a time, Lenovo had put its hat in the smartphone arena to fight among the best. But it took a hiatus, and mainly focused on its personal computer business, content to leaving its smartphone ambitions to its Motorola brand.
That being said, it seems that Lenovo does not want to be left out of the smartphone flagship race. Strangely enough, the Z6 Pro is sold online on Lazada under the Official Motorola Store.
We were intrigued and proceeded to check the listing out. To no surprise, the Z6 Pro comes with a large 6.39-inch Samsung AMOLED screen that offers a 2,340 x 1,080 resolution, paired with Dolby Atmos Sound to enjoy your media on the device. As is in trend these days, the Z6 Pro uses an in-display fingerprint reader that is claimed to be very accurate.
It should also come to no surprise that is equipped with the top of the line Snapdragon 855 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. But what is surprising is that it actually comes with a micro SD card slot with the ability to expand up to 1TB.
In terms of cameras, it has a wide range of cameras in its arsenal with a main 48-Megapixel main camera coupled with an 8-Megapixel telephoto, 16-Megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2-Megapixel dedicated video camera with Optical Image Stabilisation. Keep your 4K video recording expectations in check as it takes a maximum of 2160p videos at 30fps and 1080p at 120fps.
Adding to that there is also a 32-Megapixel selfie camera on the front. It will come with Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and boasts an all-day lasting 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging capabilities.
Now, with all those features you may come to expect it to carry a hefty price tag but surprise again, it is listed at a reason RM2,299 which is pretty respectable given its current generation specs and host of features thrown in.
