As of right now, the hottest upcoming smartphone on the market has to be Huawei’s Mate 30 series. Well, it looks like there is no shortage of leaks regarding the Mate 30 series, not the least because this will be Huawei’s first global device without official Google app support.
So, what can we expect from the upcoming Mate 30 Pro, Mate 30 and the Mate 30 RS? Plenty if you believe the info from leakster @evleaks.
Right now, the most obvious detail is the inclusion of a circular camera bump on the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro, which honestly is a polarising design choice by Huawei.
What distinguishes the Mate 30 Pro from the regular model is the dual-curved design that aims to cut the borders framing the display, achieving a higher screen to body ratio. This is in contrast to the flat display adorning the Mate 30, which also has a smaller notch.
Now, if you are looking for the cream of the crop, then you would probably want to get your hands on the Porsche Design edition Mate 30 or Mate 30 RS. Much like last year’s edition, this is a very premium rendition of the Mate 30 that is drastically different from its regular compatriots.
The quad-camera doesn’t get holed up in a circular camera bump but is placed vertically on the back.
