Nothing Expands Audio Lineup with Nothing Headphone (a), Arriving in Malaysia on April
Hot on the heels of the Nothing Phone (4a) series announcement, Nothing has officially unveiled its latest audio product: the Nothing Headphone (a). The new over-ear headphones promise premium sound, a playful design, and an unprecedented five-day battery life.
Just like the newly revealed smartphones, the Nothing Headphone (a) is confirmed to launch in Malaysia in April.
Marathon Battery Life and Durable Design

The standout feature of the Nothing Headphone (a) is undoubtedly its endurance. Nothing claims the device offers a remarkable five days of continuous listening on a single charge. For users in a hurry, a quick five-minute top-up provides an additional five hours of playback, making it perfect for daily commutes or long-haul flights.
Visually, the Headphone (a) perfectly complements the vibrant new aesthetic of the Phone (4a) series. It will be available in four striking colours: Yellow, Pink, Black, and White. The headphones are built for comfort and durability, weighing just 310 grams and featuring memory foam ear cushions. An IP52 rating ensures the internal components are protected against dust and water splashes.
High-Resolution Audio and Adaptive ANC
Sound quality is driven by a 40mm titanium-coated driver engineered to deliver powerful, distortion-free audio. The headphones are certified for Hi-Resolution Audio Wireless and support the LDAC codec to preserve the finest details of high-resolution tracks.
To block out distractions, the Nothing Headphone (a) features Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with three distinct presets: low, mid, and high. A sophisticated hybrid ANC system employs dual feedforward and feedback microphones combined with AI technology to adapt the noise cancellation in real time based on your surroundings and how the headphones fit.
Users who prefer to stay aware of their environment can easily switch to Transparency Mode. For phone calls, a three-mic AI algorithm trained on over 28 million noise scenarios isolates the user’s voice for crystal-clear communication even in noisy areas.
Intuitive Controls and Software Features

Nothing has integrated tactile controls directly into the ear cups, including a Roller, Paddle, and Button for effortless media navigation and volume adjustment.
The Headphone (a) introduces a new “Channel Hop” feature, allowing users to skip through their favourite apps and functions instantly by simply pressing the Button. Additionally, a new Camera Shutter mode transforms the Button into a remote trigger, enabling users to capture hands-free photos or start recording videos on their paired smartphone.
Through the Nothing X app, users gain access to a professional 8-band Advanced EQ to fine-tune their sound profile and share custom setups with the Nothing Community. The app also features a real-time Bass Enhancement algorithm that punches up low frequencies without muddying the mid and high tones.
Local pricing for the Nothing Headphone (a) is expected to be announced closer to its April release date in Malaysia.
