The brand Nubia may not be familiar to most Malaysians, but this sub brand of ZTE definitely wants in on the gaming phone market with its latest device, the Nubia Red Magic 3. The device is set to drop in Malaysia thanks to a pre-order by retailer DirectD.

Much like Asus, BlackShark and Razer, Nubia’s approach to the Red Magic 3 is to offer a high-spec device that should meet the needs of any gamer. This includes stuffing in a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage that should offer gamers plenty of power to play the latest games.

As crazy it sounds, Nubia even managed to pack in an advanced liquid cooling system with a turbo fan to ensure gamers stay cool even in the heat of battle. How cool is that?

Let’s not forget that it has a massive 6.65-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that has a blazing quick 90Hz refresh rate, making it all the better for playing graphic intensive games.

Aside from that it has a 48-Megapixel f/1.7 main camera and a front facing 16-Megapixel selfie camera.

Other features include a generous 5,000mAh battery that supports 27W fast charging with a USB-C cable.

The highest spec model (12GB + 256GB) will cost RM2,799 while the more affordable 8GB + 128GB model will cost RM2,199. The Nubia Red Magic 3 will be available in three colours: black, red and camouflage. Take note that only the top-of-the-line model comes in the camouflage pattern.

Malaysian gamers need not wait long as the phone is expected to hit Malaysian shores by July 3. For more information go to DirectD’s website.
