The Nokia 2.2 is the entry-level phone you have been searching for

Not everyone is looking out for the best of the best. Sometimes a humble entry-level phone is all you need.  HMD Global understands that this is the case for many and has since released the Nokia 2.2 in Malaysia for just RM399.

You wouldn’t guess it but this latest addition to its budget-friendly Nokia 2 series boasts a 5.71 -inch HD+ display with a spiffy 19:9 aspect ratio.

Also since this phone is part of the Android One program, you essentially get a very clean Android experience with the Nokia 2.2.

This being an entry-level device, it sports a humble MediaTek Helio A22 processor with 2GB of RAM and just 16GB of internal storage. Fortunately, you can expand it up to 400GB via a microSD card. It is powered by a 3,000mAh battery.

Looking around the back, it has a 13-Megapixel camera and a simple 5-Megapixel selfie camera.

Now despite its budget price tag, the Nokia 2.2 does feature Face Unlock technology as well as a dedicated Google Assistant button.

According to HMD Global, it will be bringing it in two colours: Steel and Tungsten Black.
