Opera Air: The Browser That Wants You to Relax
Opera, known for its innovative browser designs, has launched Opera Air, a unique browser that integrates mindfulness and relaxation techniques into the browsing experience.
The new browser features a ‘Take a Break’ function with four distinct modes. These modes include guided breathing exercises designed to reduce stress and lower blood pressure.
Additionally, it offers neck exercises consisting of simple stretches and movements to improve neck flexibility and posture. Furthermore, the browser provides meditation sessions aimed at enhancing focus, awareness, and overall mindfulness.
Finally, the ‘Take a Break’ function includes full body scans, a form of guided meditation that promotes increased body awareness.
These exercises are available on demand or can be scheduled automatically, with durations ranging from 3 to 15 minutes. All exercises are guided by real voice actors for a more personalised experience.
The browser also incorporates a “Boosts” feature, utilising Binaural Beats to create a customised soundscape. Users can adjust the volume of binaural beats, background music, and ambient sounds to their preference.
Finally, Opera Air starts each browsing session with a motivational quote on the Speed Dial screen, encouraging a positive mindset.
Opera Air demonstrates the company’s continued exploration of innovative browser designs, moving beyond traditional functionality and focusing on user well-being.
