Options Open Up For Malaysians Looking To Buy An Apple Watch Series 5 With LTE

Good news Apple Watch fans because you now have more ways to get an Apple Watch Series 5 with LTE. Aside from Digi which made the watch available to its subscribers on 1st November, Celcom is also said to be offering Apple’s latest smartwatch from 13th December 2019 onwards.

Now you may be wondering what is the major difference between the LTE version and the regular version? Well, for starters if you are a runner and love to take your music with you wherever you go, the LTE version will allow you to stream your music directly to your Airpods and even allow you to make calls with the Apple Watch.

You won’t have to worry about managing a SIM card as both Digi and Celcom will offer their services via an eSIM and it will also be linked to your main mobile number so you don’t have to worry about managing two separate numbers.

As a reminder, the Apple Watch Series 5 cellular version is priced from RM2,199 for the 40mm version and from RM2,399 for the 44mm version.

If you don’t need the latest and greatest, the older Apple Watch Series 3 with cellular is priced from RM1,299 for the 38mm size.

Celcom however, has not revealed its bundle for the Apple Watch Series 5 just yet but stay tuned.
