POCO Global website shuts down

In a move aimed at streamlining its services and offering a more unified experience, POCO has announced that it will be closing its official global website and transitioning all of its services to the Mi.com platform. The change is set to take effect on 31st of December, 2024, when the POCO website, will be permanently shut down.

The company explained that this shift is part of its strategy to provide a broader range of products and services by consolidating everything under Xiaomi’s global platform. Starting at the end of the year, POCO product pages will be moved to Xiaomi’s official site. Customer service and after-sales support will also be relocated there.

What This Means for POCO Users

Despite the closure of the website, customers will still have full access to support services for their POCO devices through Xiaomi’s existing infrastructure. Users looking for customer or after-sales service will be able to find relevant information on Xiaomi’s global support page, and warranty services will be available through the warranty support page.

Once the POCO site goes offline, users visiting it will be automatically redirected to the appropriate page on Xiaomi’s website. The POCO Store app will soon be discontinued. Therefore, users are encouraged to switch to the Mi Store app. This way, they can continue shopping for POCO products and accessing related services.

Handling Personal Data and Consumer Rights

For users concerned about their personal data, the company offers a solution. You can download and keep a copy of any information collected on the POCO website. Simply log in to your Xiaomi account and go to the privacy section. From there, you can download your data under “Mi Store (International)” before the transition is finalized.

The company assured its customers that their rights will be fully protected under applicable laws. This includes warranty and after-sales service guarantees. These protections will remain in place both during and after the transition.

A Step Toward Greater Integration

This move represents a significant step in further integrating POCO into Xiaomi’s ecosystem. As a result, the company aims to create a more seamless experience for its global user base. Additionally, by bringing POCO under the Mi.com domain, the company seeks to simplify operations. This change will also give users access to a wider range of products and services from both brands.

POCO’s announcement highlights its ongoing commitment to making high-performance technology accessible to everyone. Fans and users are invited to join the brand’s next chapter at Xiaomi’s global website after the POCO website is officially closed.

POCO’s official website will be closed as of the 31st of December, 2024, as the brand moves to the Mi.com platform.
