POCO has officially unveiled its highly anticipated F7 series. The grand launch event took place in Singapore today, showcasing the top-tier POCO F7 Ultra and the equally compelling POCO F7 Pro. Staying true to their mission, POCO aims to make cutting-edge technology more accessible, and Malaysian consumers are the first to experience this, with the F7 series already available starting from RM 2,299.
POCO F7 Ultra: Double the Power, Double the Performance
Headlining the series is the POCO F7 Ultra, a device that pulls no punches in its quest for top-tier performance. It’s powered by Qualcomm’s latest and greatest, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform. Built on a cutting-edge 3nm process by TSMC, this chipset boasts significant performance gains, with POCO claiming up to 45% increase in CPU performance and 44% in GPU performance, all while drastically reducing power consumption. The F7 Ultra flexes its muscle with an impressive AnTuTu score of 2,843,461, promising lightning-fast responsiveness for demanding tasks and gaming.
But the F7 Ultra doesn’t stop there. In a first for POCO, it features a dedicated graphics chip, the VisionBoost D7. The POCO F7 Pro offers a compelling alternative, powered by the still formidable Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Running on Xiaomi HyperOS 2 and supported by WildBoost Optimization 4.0, it aims to deliver a smooth and fluid experience for a wide range of applications and games, supporting up to 120FPS with Smart Frame Rate, including 90FPS in Genshin Impact.
The F7 Pro also benefits from LiquidCool Technology 4.0 to maintain optimal performance during intensive tasks. It packs a larger 6,000mAh battery and supports 90W HyperCharge for extended usage.
Both the F7 Ultra and F7 Pro feature next-generation charging technologies, including the POCO Surge P3 charging chipset and POCO Surge G1 battery chipset, optimizing charging speed, efficiency, and extending battery lifespan, retaining over 80% capacity even after 1,600 charging cycles.

The POCO F7 Ultra boasts the brand’s most advanced imaging system yet. Its triple-lens setup includes a 50MP main camera powered by the Light Fusion 800 sensor, POCO’s first flagship-level floating telephoto lens, and the highest-pixel ultra-wide camera in their lineup (likely 32MP). This combination covers 8 classic focal lengths, offering immense versatility. Both the POCO F7 Ultra and F7 Pro feature ultra-bright displays with up to 3200 nits peak brightness and 1800 nits HBM brightness. They also prioritize eye comfort with Circular Polarization Technology, 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and 16,000-level auto brightness adjustment. Both displays have received TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light (Hardware Solution), Flicker Free, and Circadian Friendly certifications. Touch responsiveness is enhanced with AI, even with wet fingers or gloves. For the first time on a POCO device, they feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for faster and more secure unlocking.
