Emerging smartphone brand Realme is continuing its aggressive push forward in the smartphone business by announcing its next smartphone will feature a 64-Megapixel main camera.
The news comes from Realme’s Twitter account as it hinted that the company will make a giant leap forward in its camera technology by adding a fourth camera to the array, thus diversifying a user’s shooting options. Thus far, the majority of smartphone makers have been adding 48-Megapixel cameras to their phones but Realme seems determined to beat them at this game.
That being said, mobile photography enthusiasts will not have to wait too long to see this camera in action.
Though there is no official name for this new device, we can expect to learn more about it during Realme’s launch event in New Delhi on 8 August.
