Red Dead Redemption PC Port Leak
A long-awaited dream may soon become a reality for PC gamers. A recent, bizarre update on the PlayStation Store has ignited speculation that a PC port of Red Dead Redemption is imminent. Despite launching a whopping 14 years ago, the game has remained a console exclusive, much to the frustration of PC players.

The PlayStation Store listing now claims that RDR1 is “now on PC,” a statement that is obviously incorrect. However, this unexpected change has sent ripples through the gaming community, suggesting that an official announcement could be just around the corner.
Adding fuel to the fire, a datamine of Rockstar Games’ website earlier this year also hinted at a PC port. The PlayStation Store description promises enhanced visuals, higher framerates, and support for multiple displays and accessories, suggesting a dedicated effort to optimise the game for PC.
While the excitement is palpable, it’s important to remember that this is still speculation. Rockstar has a history of keeping its cards close to its chest, particularly when it comes to PC ports. The company has faced criticism for prioritising console releases over PC, with Grand Theft Auto 5 being a prime example.
Nevertheless, the signs are looking promising for PC gamers eager to experience the epic western adventure of Red Dead Redemption. Only time will tell if Rockstar will finally deliver on the long-awaited port.
