90-day “Time to Move” initiative combines health screenings, fitness challenges, and advanced technology for holistic wellness
Sunway Medical Centre (SMC), located in Sunway City, has recently launched the Time to Move wellness programme in collaboration with Samsung Malaysia Electronics. Specifically, this 90-day initiative is designed to guide participants on a holistic health journey. Initially, it begins with a comprehensive body check-up, and then it culminates in a final assessment to track progress.
The programme aims to empower individuals to take control of their well-being. It offers professional guidance, fitness challenges, and cutting-edge technology. To start, participants will undergo health screenings. These screenings will include an Inbody test and a blood test to establish baseline metrics. Throughout the 90 days, they will not only engage in fitness challenges but also participate in group workouts. Furthermore, they will receive valuable insights from healthcare professionals to support their progress.
Each participant will be provided with a Samsung Galaxy Watch7, enabling them to monitor daily activities, body composition, and sleep quality. Additionally, Samsung Malaysia’s Vice President, KM Liew, highlighted the importance of the company’s advanced health monitoring tools in the programme. These tools not only offer sleep tracking but also include fitness coaching and nutritional insights, all of which are designed to foster healthier lifestyles.
The programme was officially launched by SMC’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Seow Vei Ken, alongside Samsung Malaysia’s top executives. Dr. Seow emphasised the hospital’s commitment to holistic wellness, stating that Time to Move is about creating sustainable health improvements over 90 days.
Of the over 200 sign-ups, 60 participants were selected to take part in the programme. The participant with the most impressive progress will be rewarded with a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 and a luxury retreat.
