Huawei has a new phone and it has Google apps-preinstalled. Say hello to the Huawei Y9s.
The phone headlines with two main features. The first is an Ultra FullView Display, meaning to say it has almost no bezels and no notch to get in the way of your view. The second is a triple camera set up with a 48-Megapixel main camera.
It is speculated that the version of the Y9s coming into Malaysia will boast a 6.59-inch Full HD+ display and comes with 16-Megapixel f/2.2 pop-up selfie camera.
Apart from that you will also find that the Y9s has a mesmerising coat of paint dubbed Breathing Crystal that is similar to that found on the Huawei P30 series. Don’t fret if rainbows aren’t your colour as it comes in Midnight Black too.
Given how Face ID is so prolific these days, it comes as a relief that the Y9s still comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Inside, the Y9s is said to be powered by a Kirin 710F processor and will be supported with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Now coming to the camera, you get three within this one body. The first is the aforementioned 48-Megapixel camera together with an ultra-wide-angle and a depth camera.
Aside from that you get a 4,000mAh battery which should last you throughout a busy work day. Another great surprise is it comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Stay tuned for more as Huawei is expected to give an official announcement over the new Y9s in the coming weeks.
