Unlike traditional cloud-based security systems, this experience stores all footage locally on the BeeStation Plus. By pairing the station with supported Synology cameras, users gain access to advanced features traditionally reserved for cloud services:

• On-Camera AI Detection: Real-time identification of people, pets, vehicles, and intrusion events.
• Unified Event Review: All detected events are consolidated in one place for quick daily reviews with filtering by event type.
• Permanent “Collections”: Users can save specific clips to Collections to prevent them from being overwritten by routine storage retention.

Flexible Management via BeeCamera App

The new mobile app allows users to manage up to four cameras from a single interface. It offers deep customization for recording schedules, detection zones, and specific retention settings based on the station’s available storage.
