Here is an interesting bit of news. Rumour has it that Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10 is set to debut in New York City on August 7.
We had previously reported on some leaked renders of the Galaxy Note 10 but according to a reliable source within CNET, Samsung can’t wait to get the wraps off its latest smartphone.
“Samsung will show off its Galaxy Note 10 during a flashy Unpacked event on Aug. 7 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, according to people familiar with the company’s plans. The venue is the same place the South Korean technology giant launched the Note 9 last year.”
Traditionally, the date sounds just about right for Samsung as the Note series typically makes it debut in August every year.
Samsung’s Galaxy Note series has been credited for making the case for larger screens on smartphones. Though many, including Apple, laughed at the idea of bigger screens on then smaller devices, Samsung had the last laugh as the Note series took off.
This year’s Note 10 is expected to make several changes to Samsung’s age old formula and design as it is hinted that it will be shaving off its buttons and dropping the headphone jack.
Well, we will have to wait and see in August as to what Samsung has in store for its latest phablet.
