Vivo’s new mid-range quad-camera phone the Vivo S1 Pro will be making landfall on 3 December. It will be positioned as a newer and improved version of the Vivo S1.
It features a 6.38-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display and will run on a Qualcomm 665 processor, complemented by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Apart from that, it has a 4,500mAh battery and a USB C port.
The main star of the S1 Pro’s feature set is the diamond-shaped quad-camera array that houses its 48-Megapixel camera along with an 8-Megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide camera, 2-Megapixel macro camera and 2-Megapixel bokeh camera.
Considering that the camera offering on the S1 Pro similar to that of its higher-end cousin the V17 Pro, it does seem that it is quite the steal.
You also get a 32-Megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies.
The S1 Pro will come in two colours: Fancy Sky and Knight Black.
There is no word yet on an official price but the previous version, the Vivo S1 was priced at RM1,099, so the price shouldn’t be too far off from that.
