iQOO has just announced two new devices in their Neo line; the iQOO Neo9 and Neo9 Pro. Both devices are powered by Snapdragon and Dimensity chipsets respectively.
iQOO Neo9 and Neo9 Pro
Both the Neo9 and Neo9 Pro come with similar specifications down to the display to the camera setup and the internals. There’s a 6.78-inch AMOLED display onboard with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+ and 20:9 aspect ratio on both devices. There’s also a “wet hand control” feature that iQOO says will allow users to operate their devices’ screen even with wet or sweaty hands.
The camera on both devices is a dual camera setup consisting of a 50MP main lens with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide lens. Accompanying that is a 16MP selfie camera located underneath the devices’ displays. As for the internals, both devices pack up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. There’s also a 5,160mAh battery under the hood with support for 120W fast charging. There’s also stereo speakers and a under-display fingerprint sensor included with both devices.
The main difference between the iQOO Neo9 and the Neo9 Pro lies in the chipset used. The base model comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC while the Pro model is equipped with a Dimensity 9300 SoC. Partnering these processors is a special Q1 chip (first introduced with the iQOO 12) to help maintain a stable frame rate when gaming. To improve performance even further, the Neo9 series has a “6K Sky Curtain” VC liquid cooling and a double layer capillary power pump to help deal with heat.

The prices for the iQOO Neo9 and Neo9 Pro are as follows:

Both the iQOO Neo9 and Neo9 Pro have three colour options; Black, Blue and Red-White. They are available for pre-order now in China and is set to go on sale from 30th December. You can check them out now through the vivo Chinese website. There’s no news yet as to when both devices will get a global release.
