ASUS Unveils The Zephyrus G14 And G16 With An All-new Design

ASUS Republic of Gamers unveiled its 2024 laptop lineup today in Taipei, introducing revamped Zephyrus G14 and G16 models with redesigned all-aluminium, ultra-sleek chassis designs. The lineup features new processors from Intel and AMD, along with NVIDIA silicon equipped with built-in AI acceleration, catering to gamers, creators, and engineers.

The 2024 ROG laptops embrace the AI revolution, incorporating AI acceleration directly into the CPUs and GPUs. This ensures local utilisation of the latest technology, from Microsoft Copilot to NVIDIA DLSS and Frame Generation, enhancing user experiences across various applications.

Zephyrus G14 and G16

The Zephyrus G14 and G16 undergo a complete redesign for 2024, offering thinner and lighter builds with an all-new Slash Lighting array on the lid. The Zephyrus models are the first to feature a Nebula Display with an OLED panel, and ROG proudly presents one of the first G-SYNC OLED displays on a gaming laptop, achieving a remarkable 960 Hz pixel emission rate.

Furthermore, the Zephyrus G14 is equipped with the AMD Ryzen 8000 Series processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU. The Zephyrus G16, on the other hand, features an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 185H. In terms of graphics, the G16 is equipped with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU. Each model comes with a three-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, granting users access to a vast library of top-notch games.

SCAR 16 and SCAR 18

In the ROG Strix family, the SCAR 16 and SCAR 18 now boast Nebula HDR panels with Mini LED backlights, featuring over 2,000 dimming zones, a groundbreaking addition in the 18-inch form factor. This innovation marks a significant step forward in display technology for gaming laptops.

ROG Strix SCAR 16 and SCAR 18 bring HDR content and games to life with the introduction of the first 18-inch ROG Nebula HDR Display. The panels, with over 2,000 dimming zones and 1,100 nits of peak brightness, minimise blooming and haloing for an incredibly vivid HDR performance. Moreover, all 2024 Strix family displays offer a 2.5K 240Hz refresh rate, less than 3ms gray-to-gray response time, and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour space.
