The OnePlus 12 Series has just been made official on the global market. Moreover, OnePlus Malaysia has just confirmed that their brand new flagship will be making its way here in February. It is the latest flagship to launch in Malaysia carrying the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It follows the iQOO 12, Nubia Z60 and the upcoming ROG Phone 8 Series, just to name a few.
OnePlus 12
The new OnePlus flagship touts a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution. It also has a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and 4,500 nits peak brightness. Additionally, the display is encased in Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, providing an extra layer of sturdiness. Under the hood, you’ll find the aforementioned Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor partnered with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 internal storage.
As for the camera, the OnePlus 112 comes with Hasselblad’s 4th generation camera setup. The main camera is a 50MP wide camera using Sony’s LYT-808 sensor. This is accompanied by a 64MP telephoto camera and 48MP ultrawide camera. On the front, the device comes equipped with a 32MP selfie shooter nestled in a punch-hole notch at the top of the display.
Other features include a 5,400mAh Li-Po battery that supports 100W SUPERVOOC and 50W AIRVOOC charging. There’s also Bluetooth 5.4, USB Tyoe-C 3.2 Gen 1 and dual-nano SIM function, among others. That’s not all, OnePlus’ signature slider also makes a return here.
Price and availability
The OnePlus 12 is set to launch in Malaysia on the 3rd of February. It will retail for RM4,599 and will be available in two colours; Flowy Emerald and Silky Black.
