Huawei has added a new member to its nova Y series lineup with the launch of the HUAWEI nova Y72. This smartphone boasts impressive features like a long-lasting battery, innovative X button for quick app access, and a capable camera system, all at an attractive price point.

The nova Y72 features a large 6.75-inch display with a high screen-to-body ratio for an immersive viewing experience. Smooth Screen Dimming Control adjusts brightness based on ambient light, protecting your eyes in different environments. But the star of the show is the massive 6000mAh battery. HUAWEI promises up to 31 hours of video playback, 80 hours of music listening, or 25 hours of web browsing on a single charge. Additionally, 22.5W HUAWEI SuperCharge ensures efficient charging, while AI Battery Saving technology and Intelligent Charging Management optimise battery life.
The innovative X button allows you to customise shortcuts for two frequently used apps, accessible with a simple double-click or long press. This streamlines access to your favourite transportation, payment, or entertainment apps. The camera system features a 50MP main camera and a macro camera, capturing stunning photos with its F1.8 large aperture and portrait beautification effects.
Despite ongoing concerns, Huawei assures users that popular Malaysian apps like Grab, Foodpanda, and Touch ‘n Go are readily available on the HUAWEI AppGallery. The phone runs on EMUI 12, offering a smart and efficient user experience with features like Service Widgets for real-time information. It also has a Simple Mode for elders with larger icons and fonts.
