HONOR Malaysia is launching their latest flagship smartphone, the HONOR Magic6 Pro, next week on 20th March. The phone succeeds last year’s HONOR Magic5 Pro and boasts several upgrades across the board.
HONOR Magic6 Pro specifications
The HONOR Magic6 Pro features a 6.8-inch “quad-curved” OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution (2800×1280 pixels), a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits for HDR. Powering the phone is the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It also boasts IP68 dust and water resistance and dedicated chips for improved wireless connectivity, power management, and security.
The camera system is a highlight, with a triple-camera setup on the back featuring a 50MP main sensor, a massive 180MP periscope telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle shooter. The front-facing camera for selfies is also a powerful 50MP sensor.
Keeping the phone running is a large 5,600mAh battery with HONOR’s second-generation Silicon-carbon technology. HONOR claims the battery offers excellent low-temperature performance, allowing users to watch videos for up to 81 minutes at -20°C with only 10% charge remaining. The phone supports 80W fast wired charging and 66W fast wireless charging.
The HONOR Magic6 Pro runs on Android 14 with MagicOS 8 on top. While the official price hasn’t been revealed yet, Malaysians can choose between two colour options: Epi Green with a vegan leather finish and Black.
Launch event and early bird deals
The official launch event for the HONOR Magic6 Pro will be held at 3PM on 20th March. Fans can watch the livestream on the HONOR Malaysia Facebook page to see the official price reveal.
HONOR is offering an Early Bird Special for those eager to be among the first to own the phone. This special includes freebies worth up to RM2,259. Customers can secure these benefits by placing a RM66 deposit. They will receive a RM330 rebate along with an HONOR SuperCharge Wireless Charger stand, HONOR Watch 4, and HONOR Earbuds X6.
Additionally, customers will enjoy a one-year extended warranty and a 365-day screen crack replacement for both the front and back. Pre-orders are open on HONOR’s website, Lazada, and Shopee until 20th March.
