Google Pixel Fold 9 Pro Won’t Launch in Malaysia This Year
Local tech fans hoping to get their hands on the Google Pixel Fold 9 Pro will have to wait a little longer. Google has officially confirmed that the foldable device will not be launched along with the other Pixel 9 devices in Malaysia this year.
The reason behind this decision is that Malaysia wasn’t included in the initial target markets during the device’s development phase. As a result, the new Pixel Fold doesn’t support all local telecommunication networks.
While this news might be disheartening for those eager to experience the latest foldable technology, Google has offered a glimmer of hope. The company has assured Malaysians that the next Pixel Fold model will be officially launched in the country next year. This upcoming device is expected to address compatibility issues with local networks.
For those who manage to import the new Pixel Fold, Google has also provided information regarding post-purchase support. Currently, there are no physical Google Stores in Malaysia for device repairs. Customers who purchase directly from the Google Store will have to rely on online assistance. Those who opt for third-party sellers will need to seek support through those channels.
