Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: The Next Must-Have Phone, If You Can Find It.

Anticipation is mounting for the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. However, a key detail has emerged that may significantly affect early adopters. Specifically, the device is expected to launch with a severely limited initial supply. In addition, leaked pricing information has also surfaced. Meanwhile, reports from South Korea suggest that only 40,000 units of the highly anticipated slim phone will be available at launch in May.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Launch Looms with Limited Initial Supply, Pricing Leaks Surface

This constrained rollout raises concerns about potential shortages and longer wait times for eager consumers. However, Samsung reportedly plans to increase production in the weeks after launch. Nevertheless, the limited stock is still expected to create a frenzy among early buyers.

Adding to the buzz, pricing details have surfaced, positioning the S25 Edge between the Galaxy S25+ and the premium S25 Ultra. The 256GB model is rumoured to start at KRW 1,500,000 (approximately RM4,564), while the 512GB variant is expected to retail for KRW 1,630,000 (around RM4,960). This places it around the S25+ (KRW 1,353,000/RM4,117 for 256GB) and below the S25 Ultra (KRW 1,698,400/RM5,168). Notably, a 1TB option is reportedly absent.

The rumoured limited supply of the Galaxy S25 Edge could be attributed to various factors, including initial production constraints, component shortages, or even a deliberate strategy to create heightened demand. Regardless of the reason, the news is likely to fuel speculation and drive pre-launch excitement.

The official unveiling is expected on the 16th April in South Korea and the 15th April globally. Potential buyers should therefore be ready for a competitive market when the device launches in May. As expected, initial stock will be scarce, making availability limited. Furthermore, with leaked pricing and high demand, the Galaxy S25 Edge is shaping up to be a highly anticipated release. However, getting one at launch may still prove challenging.
