Nothing’s sub-brand, CMF by Nothing, has officially unveiled the design and some crucial specifications of its highly anticipated CMF Phone 2 Pro, set to launch on 28th April. While details were scarce initially, CMF has now taken to social media to tease key aspects of the upcoming smartphone.

Powering the CMF Phone 2 Pro: MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro
One of the first major revelations was the chipset powering the CMF Phone 2 Pro. Contrary to earlier speculation of a Dimensity 7400, the phone will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro. This represents a modest but notable upgrade over the standard Dimensity 7300 found in the original CMF Phone 1, promising an approximate 10% increase in performance.
Camera Design and Specifications Unveiled
More recently, CMF offered a clear look at the phone’s camera module design, a significant improvement over a previous, less revealing teaser. Following this, Nothing co-founder Akis Evangelidis disclosed the camera specifications. The Phone 2 Pro will feature a triple-camera system consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP sensor paired with a 2x telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Interestingly, this camera configuration bears a striking resemblance to the setup expected on the unannounced Nothing Phone (3a), suggesting a potential synergy in camera technology across Nothing’s product lines.
Promising Camera Samples Emerge
To further showcase the imaging capabilities of the CMF Phone 2 Pro, the company shared several sample photographs purportedly captured with the device. These images appear quite impressive, exhibiting good detail and dynamic range. However, the true test will be whether everyday users can consistently achieve similar results with the final retail version of the phone.
